Ghee Jeera Rice

The simplest, most fragrant rice — perfect alongside dal, rajma or any curry.
Ingredients
- 1 cup basmati rice (soaked 20 min)
- 1 tsp Chhatis King Jeera
- 2 tbsp Chhatis King Cow Ghee
- 1 bay leaf, salt to taste, fresh coriander
Method
- Heat ghee in a pot; add cumin and bay leaf and let the cumin sizzle.
- Add the drained rice and sauté gently for a minute.
- Add 1¾ cups water and salt; bring to a boil, then cover and cook on low till done.
- Fluff with a fork, finish with a spoon of ghee and coriander.
